The 2022 Global Benefits Attitudes Survey tells us when employees are assessing their options to stay or leave, they cite pay, job security, core benefits and flexible work arrangements as key decision factors.
This graph below from the same survey shows us, after a not so surprising dip during the pandemic, there has been a rebound in number of employees willing to trade lower compensation for more generous benefits.
The importance of health and retirement benefits to attract and retain workers has risen to its highest level in a decade!
The main takeaway here is that it has never been more important to offer a competitive benefits plan.
